Role
Corporate Services delivers intergrated and highly valued Corporate Services by skilled professionals to the LEA and its stakeholders.
Organisation
There are four (4) distinct departments in the LEA Corporate Services Division. They are:
- Human Resources Department
- Finance Department
- Information Technology Department and
- Fleet and Property Division.
These four (4) departments achieve the following objectives:
Human Resources
The Human Resoources Department provides an integrated human resources framework that supports the attraction, hiring and retention of the staff required to meet the Authority's objectives:
- Developing and implementing Human Resource strategies, programs and tools that support the Authority's strategic priorities and its ongoing needs
- Developing and implementing effective targeted recruitment strategies and
- Developing and marketing compelling career propositions that support the hiring and retention of staff.
Finance and Administration
The Finance department is the focal point for the Authority's Accounting and procurement functions:-Â
The three core functions of the Finance Department are to:-
Provide strategic financial support for business and operational planning.
- Provide day-to-day financial services to the LEA, its departments and staff andÂ
- Meet external and internal financial reporting requirements
The Department provides the accounting and treasury functions of the Authority and also it is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for the Authority.
Information, Communication and Technology Department
Provide a unified and adaptive Information, Communication and  Technology (ICT) environment and services. Services include:
- Providing an ICT environment that supports the Authority's vision
- Providing development services for ICT applications to internal customers.
- Developing and implementing an ICT infrastructure that ensures continued delivery of services.
Fleet and Facilities Management Department
Fleet Management
- Manage, direct, coordinate and supervise Fleet Coordination functions including transport planning & procurement, fleet inspection & compliance and contracts management.
Facilities Management
- Plan, organise, manage and control the administration of the organisation's properties and services to meet user expectations and service agreement standards to create a safe and efficient working environment through the provision of buildings & facilities, procurement & maintenance services, advice and guidelines.
