Enterprise Development Division
The Enterprise Development
division responsible for designing wholesale programmes/interventions for SMMEs in Botswana. EDD
has two departments, Micro Business Programme and Small and Medium Business
Programme Department. These two units achieve the following objectives;
Micro Business
- Develop products for entrepreneurial
culture in micro business sector
- Facilitate the development of clusters
in select sectors
Small and Medium
Business
- Facilitate the development of clusters
in select sectors
- Facilitate the accreditation of
products or services rendered by enterprises in the SMME sector
- Facilitate the establishment of joint
ventures through domestic & foreign linkages
- Facilitate subcontracting linkage opportunities
for SMMEs
