LEA PARTICIPATES IN THE ELEVENTH WOMEN EXPOSITION 2010

The Local Enterprise Authority is one of the participants in the ongoing eleventh Women Expo that started on the 21st June and shall run till the 27th June 2010, as organized by the Department of Women Affairs. The theme for this year is “Women in the informal sector: Pillars in economic diversification”.
The exposition was initiated as a strategy to enhance women’s participation in the trade sphere, to accord them an opportunity to market their businesses and products, establish business partnerships and exchange knowledge and skills with a view of exploring ways of improving products quality and marketability. On an endeavor to continue to provide market access to its clients, the LEA has managed to attract 10 of its clients (SMMEs) across its niche sectors of Manufacturing, Agriculture, Tourism, and Services to also take part in the exhibition.
